Hi, I'm Yi–Ning Weng (Oliver Weng). I studied business at National Taiwan University and am currently pursuing an M.S. in Computer Science at the University of California, San Diego.
I pursue my journey with discipline and a sincere hope to bring some meaningful improvement to the world. Within the pace of city life, I write essays on city life, take photos of ordinary streets, and keep public notes on how I'm learning.

Building software from end to end, from backend services to user-facing interfaces. Developed Auralytics, an open-source Spotify analytics application. Gained practical experience in building and maintaining production software through internships and full-time engineering roles.

Conducting research in reinforcement learning, multi-agent systems, and game theory, developing reinforcement learning approaches based on Q-learning, Deep Q-Networks (DQN), and Proximal Policy Optimization (PPO) in dynamic games and networked systems. Having coauthored five research papers, four as first author, with three currently under review.
