Hi, I'm Yi–Ning Weng.

I pursue my journey with discipline and a sincere hope to bring some meaningful improvement to the world. Within the pace of city life, I write essays on city life, take photos of ordinary streets, and keep public notes on how I'm learning.

Here are the fields where I have a keen interest:

・Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence
Studying primarily reinforcement learning (RL) and multi-agent systems, with a focus on Q-learning and Deep Q-Networks (DQN).
・Full-Stack Development
Thinking about how systems are built end to end, and how technical decisions shape long-term maintainability, collaboration, and everyday work.
・Strategic Thinking
Grounded in previous consulting experience, I approach problems by working backward from outcomes, forming hypotheses, and identifying structure beneath complexity.
・Innovative Entrepreneurship
Actively exploring how ideas move from concept to execution. I have participated in startup projects, including winning second prize in an entrepreneurship competition, and later became the creator of Auralytics .
・Writing
Using words to slow down experience, organize thought, and make sense of things that do not immediately resolve themselves.
・Photography
Paying attention to light, atmosphere, and ordinary streets as a way of staying present and grounded in the flow of city life.
・Film
Deeply influenced by the cinematic language of Wim Wenders and Richard Linklater. I am drawn to films that linger on time, everyday movement, and the quiet emotional texture of ordinary life.
・Music
Listening across genres, shaped by long-term influences from Pink Floyd, The Velvet Underground, Ryuichi Sakamoto, often moving between city pop, R&B, indie, and East Asian pop scenes.
・Sports
Closely following professional basketball and baseball across the United States, Asia, and international leagues.
・Outfit & Aesthetics
Drawn to minimal, Cityboy-inspired aesthetics, favoring simplicity, restraint, and continuity over trends.
